What does "Buckstone" mean?
Our name was created by combining the nicknames for the two places we're very proud of - the state we currently live and work ("the buckeye state"), and the state of origin ("the keystone state").
What kinds of products do you build?
We specialize in all types of decks and porches (treated wood, composite, pvc, vinyl, masonry, covered, screened, etc.), garages & pole buildings / barns (pole, block, poured, etc.), finished basements & attics, roofing & siding, and general remodeling (kitchen, bath, etc).
What type of warranty do you offer?
We offer our own 1-year warranty that protects you against potential product defects or workmanship issues. Additionally, many of our products come with manufacturer's warranties which could protect you from potential product defects for an extended period of time.
Are you a licensed, bonded, and insured builder?
We carry builders liability insurance, and we are registered ("licensed") and bonded in any areas that require it within the areas we have current projects.
How soon can my project be built?
The time frame varies depending on the season/weather and our current workload. Please contact Buckstone for additional information.
Which areas will Buckstone build?
We complete projects throughout most of Northeast Ohio. Since we are located in Randolph Township in southern Portage County, we can effectively service the Akron Canton Youngstown region (Portage, Summit, Stark, and sometimes parts of surrounding areas into Mahoning, Columbiana, Trumbull, etc)
What types of materials do you work with?
For our decks, we work with treated wood (Yellawood), PVC (Azek), composite (Timbertech), capped-composite (Trex), and vinyl (Veka, Gorilla).
Roofing we offer a range of asphalt shingle manufacturers (Owens Corning, Certainteed, GAF).
Siding we prefer Mastic Ovation and Alside Odyssey but we work with several other lines and manufacturers to ensure we find the product that works best for your needs.
